The thick aromatic gravy of Instant Mee Rebus Paste is absolutely delicious and savory.
Recipe of Mee Rebus (4 servings)
– Instant Mee Rebus paste : 1 packet (230 grams)
– Water : 800 ml
– Corn starch : 3 tbsp mixed with 150 ml of water. (used to thicken the gravy)
– Wheat Flour Noodles : 500 grams
– Bean sprouts
Garnish with :
– Fried bean curd (cut into cubes)
– Fried shallots
– Green chili
Simple Method :
(1) Bring 800 ml of water to boil, add in one packet of Instant Mee Rebus Paste, Stir well.
(2) When the gravy boils, add in corn starch mixture to thicken the gravy. Stir well. It is ready when the gravy boils again.
(3) Boil water to cook noodle and bean sprouts. Drain water thoroughly.
(4) Add aromatic gravy to the cooked noodle.
(4) It taste great with an egg together with some fried bean curb. shallots and green chili.
(5) It taste even better with a few drops of lime juice.
