The specialty and tip of this Pineapple Tart Recipe
These pineapple tarts are made with same proportion of plain flour and custard flour to give them a natural beautiful golden color and also enhances its fragrance. This mixture combination of flour and custard will give You a firm but not flaky texture that is wonderful and savory.
Ingredients (Quantity about 1oo pieces of pineapple tarts)
– 250 grams margarine
– 1oo grams icing sugar
– 2 egg yolks
– 200 grams plain flour
– 200 grams custard flour
– 60 grams corn flour
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 kilo pineapple paste
– Tarts press set
Method and Steps :
Step 1 : Roll pineapple paste into ball shapes.
Step 2 : Cream margarine, icing sugar, egg yolks and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
Step 3 : Add in plain flour, custard flour and corn flour. Mix well to form a dough.
Step 4 : Roll out dough to 7 mm thickness. Cut out dough with the tart press set.
Place on greased baking tray.
Step 5 : Put in pineapple paste balls, decorate with strips. Bake in preheated 180 degree C for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
6. Let the tarts cool thoroughly and seal in air-tight bottle.
